Phrenology

Phrenology (Reading Bumps on People's Heads) was a Victorian Profession which George Burgess (1829-1901) practiced in the Bristol Arcades (Shopping Centre) from 1861 until his retirement in 1901. Two of the phrenology books he used, along with the phrenology heads are published on Nathanville with other supporting data.

Also published on Nathanville is a Phrenology book used by Professor G Rudd when he did a reading on Edward William Burgess Baglin (1906-1969) at 31 Lower Arcades, Bristol on 26th June 1928.
